1/4 cup oats, steel cut or rolled
2 cups heavy cream
1/2 cup single malt Scotch, like Balvenie Doublewood
1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
Soak 1/4 cup oats in 1/2 cup Scotch overnight. Strain, saving liquid and discarding oats.
Mix everything well. Serve chilled , over ice if desired.
